    3.   Parent Planning for Special Needs Adoption is for both pre- and post-adoptive parents. Presenters go beyond discussing various types of special needs and consider the joys and challenges involved. Different types of resources are examined, and participants will begin to discern which resources might be best for their family. Most importantly, the course walks parents through the building of an individualized parenting plan which becomes a lifelong reference.

    This course is recommended for all adoptive families and professionals and includes access, testing, and certificates for two parents for 15 hours of Hague compatible adoption education.
